Kimberly Grooms
Kimberly Grooms earned her Bachelor Degree in
Management and Business from National Louis University in
1999 and completed her Masters in Health Law from Loyola
University in 2011.  Kimberly currently works for one of the
largest healthcare system in Chicago, Illinois, where she
works as a Public Health Educator.

As a native of Chicago, Illinois, Kimberly has organized
numerous events such as, Go Red for Heart Health,
Breastfeeding and Breast Cancer Awareness walk-a-thons
and Back to Sleep Campaign’s.  She also serves on the
boards of SMART Moms, Alpha Leadership Academy, and
Englewood Healthy Start Consortium.

Her main initiative is to bring awareness to women and men
about Postpartum Depression; creating new laws that focus
on educating parents and supporting family members in
indentifying signs and symptoms of Postpartum Depression.

Kimberly is the owner of National Hearing and Vision, school-
based child screening program, whose goal is to ensure that
all school age students receive hearing and vision screenings
mandated by Illinois law. The long term goals for National
Hearing and Vision is to expand eventually include
Optometrist and Vision Therapy services.
